Can Anything Go Faster Than the Speed of Light?

any opinion?

This is a really interesting scientific debate that examines the speed of light and possibilities of traveling faster.  There have been some far out explanations about black holes that can warp light and the like but perhaps is that faster or slower than light itself?  And recently there have been discussions about “tachyons” or some kind of mysterious cosmic particle that indeed does travel faster.

The ever adventurous scientific video maker “Vsauce” asks this very question.  His explanations and examples may surprise you.

Do you think he is too far out there or does he pose some strong examples to ponder over?

Let’s find out what the narrator thinks could go faster in the video on page 2

When light shines from the top and bottom of a black hole or quasar, it often is invisible for the first 100000 light years. The light beams seem to start out in space, well away from the poles. That’s because those particles have finally slowed enough to become visible light.

What does “go faster than the speed of light” mean? What is “Anything”? What I know is no one has found anything with any mass that has gone faster than the speed of light relative to anything else that has mass. It really is relative …

No .and thats the law .even if u create something fast .its speed increase its mass .unless you create something massless..my imagigation can go more than the speed of light .lol

Well they proved that light travels not at a constant speed through space because there are more dense and less dense areas of space if we could find a way to navigate through these loser packed areas of space then we would be able to accelerate faster than we ever thought was possible and possibly with something like an EM Drive which constantly accelerates it might be possible to go faster than the speed of light eventually given enough time and fuel
