Is “Planet X” Really Caught in Our Sun’s Gravity?

The discovery of exoplanets has made a buzz within the scientific and science fan community, notably with spotting the one named kepler 452-b.  And here is a brief excerpt on how they think planet x could be one too:

The idea isn’t all that far-fetched. The sun was born in a reasonably large stellar cluster with roughly 1000 or maybe even 10,000 stars, says Alexander Mustill from the Lund Observatory in Sweden. In such a dense cluster, the sun would have had quite a few close encounters with other stars, potentially letting them swap planets from time to time.

“It would be pretty wild – to pick up an alien planet and bring it along for the ride,” says Greg Laughlin at the Lick Observatory in California.

Stay tuned for more information on this story as it is one of the biggest in astronomy for the last decade.  Seriously, can you get your mind around the possibility of another planet right there?  Is there any chance they are wrong? Wow.

And there are new reports that definitely think it is SO.

Yes it is. We should demand information why they keep covering up the planet when people in Australia are now seeing it with the naked eye.
