The Juno Spacecraft Will be Flying by Jupiter Closer That Anything EVER

finally…

The gas giant planet has been one of the greatest mysteries of our solar system.  And now for the first time ever they are gonna get a super close view of the planet.  Super super close and never seen before to be correct!  Here is a bit more on what to expect:

The Juno spacecraft will for the first time peer below Jupiter’s dense cover of clouds to answer questions about the gas giant and the origins of our solar system.

Juno’s primary goal is to reveal the story of Jupiter’s formation and evolution. Using long-proven technologies on a spinning spacecraft placed in an elliptical polar orbit, Juno will observe Jupiter’s gravity and magnetic fields, atmospheric dynamics and composition, and evolution.

What do you think they will find?  And what about the giant red storm that has been going on for so long?  Will they figure out what is causing that this time?  Maybe they will even find some surprises no one is expecting! 😉

Let’s find out more and check out a close up video of Jupiter on the next page
