One Astronomer Says Aliens Are Still Likely…Just Fewer OF Them
Apparently they used a simulation that yielded a different model than previously thought:
The simulated galaxies were consistent with observed distant galaxies at the bright end of the distribution – in other words, those that have been discovered and confirmed. The simulations didn’t, however, reveal an exponentially growing number of faint galaxies, as has been previously predicted. The number of those at the lower end of the brightness distribution was flat rather than increasing sharply, O’Shea added.
This sounds reasonable although not sure this is relevant given that we don’t even have one verifiable sample to confirm alien life anywhere. I.e. what if they live in dark matter or other places we can’t observe? Then this might be irrelevant. Although that is highly unlikely. Also below is a video on the SETI program.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to stop all of our species in-fighting over things like oil resources, opium, ect… put an end to the war-machines of every country and work together as a species then perhaps other off-world species might be more encouraged to come for a visit with a more peaceful/neutral human species.

but, they’ve alreafy been here, n probably still visit. Almost every indigenous culture has cave paintaings and/or stories of them being here. Some even have stone tablets describing their visit 😉
Obviously hard to say if not proven but my beliefs is its just arrogant to say life has to live by same enviorment rules as man and look like man. Different worlds out there who knows. My belief is there’s 1000s of worlds with life just spread far apart. Maybe some that live like we do but others that don’ . Heck even on earth we can’t live in water but fish can and visa versa. Just my belief.
