Its Confirmed They Found Not One But Two Types of Water On Comet 67P

this is a FIRST for a comet…

What could this mean? 2015 has been quite a year for astronomy with never before seen pictures of the surface of Mars and some other interesting space objects. One of them happens to be comet 67p which acts less like a typical comet. Now in 2016 they have confirmed some very interesting findings:

Scientists have confirmed the existence of large patches of water ice on the surface of a comet, saying it’s likely formed a dry, crunchy coating over an ice-layered core of the iconic comet called 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. The discovery solves a months-long mystery over why water has been identified everywhere else on the comet except its surface.

This could mean that they living organisms may exist or have existed on that surface…at least some astronomers are hypothesizing.
