This prototype definitely is not as futuristic looking as the magentic versions.  It looks as if they even attached a skateboard deck to this thing.  Some of the commenters have this to say:

Come on, stop glorifying this. It’s just a small hovercaft. It can’t even go over bumps because the air cushion is too small. And it can never jump because it would loose the air cushion and just collapse. It’s a nice demo of a dyi mini hovercraft but that’s all about it.
