This pic shows a vantage point of stars unobstructed by clouds, smog or anything else.  There is even a noticeable hue to the left.  It is tough to say exactly what that is.  Any ideas?  Factoid, the great wall of China can be seen from space.  There is also a significant difference when you are looking at a night time pic from South Korea vs. North Korea.  The South is full of lights and the North is mostly dark.  not to go off on a tangent or get political
