Have you heard about this one?

There has been a big buzz over this planetary discovery.  Apparently this exoplanet is only 39 light years away and is being called GJ 1132b.  It is close enough to study in much further detail and they are saying it is extremely similar to Venus.

There has been more focus than ever on exoplanets as they may be the most effective way to search for extraterrestrials.  Although on one hand how can one say that when they haven’t found them yet, although on the other hand these are planets that have atmospheres and properties potentially similar to ours.
