
Here is a brief intro on why at least from a physics standpoint, the name can be considered ironic:
Its peculiar appearance is the result of a collision between two similar gas-rich disc galaxies that took place about 600 million years ago, which ripped both galaxies apart.
Perhaps there is peace within the galaxy and we just don’t understand it because we’re describing it from this vantage point 😉
