This is what happens in the wild world of science in the mother nature realm.  Most people would probably think that a mouse would get taken down by a scorpion every time.  However, there is an interesting biological mechanism in this particular mouse’s body:

Grasshopper mice have developed the evolutionary equivalent of martial arts to use bark scorpions’ greatest strength—their venom—against them. The MSU-led research could lead to advances in treating pain in humans.
