One of the commenters make an astute comment about mice behavior:

I’ve done that before. Mice behavior is very predictable. They run on total instinct. I had a great mouse trap set up in my apartment. I had an X taped to the floor in this one spot. Every time I saw a mouse on that spot I would stomp my foot down and the mouse would run along the baseboard right into the sticky trap. It worked every time. I caught 12 mice within 2 weeks. Now I have a cat and they don’t come around anymore.

As you can see physics wins and the slo mo guys do not, although they do get a good slow motion video out of it!
