Nasa Actually Finds Blue Skies On Pluto?…They Just Announced

This is a pic from NASA showing an “atmosphere” of some sort on Pluto.  Who would have thought?  They also get into a more detailed description on what makes up this atmosphere.

The haze particles themselves are likely gray or red, but the way they scatter blue light has gotten the attention of the New Horizons science team. “That striking blue tint tells us about the size and composition of the haze particles,” said science team researcher Carly Howett, also of SwRI. “A blue sky often results from scattering of sunlight by very small particles. On Earth, those particles are very tiny nitrogen molecules. On Pluto they appear to be larger — but still relatively small — soot-like particles we call tholins.

Although different from the composition of the atmosphere on Earth, it is still pretty awesome to find.  Does this indicate the presence of organisms in the past or possibly currently?

thanks to NASA for the great info and pic

Interesting. By all accounts, Pluto is too far from the sun to allow for the necessary refraction of light that causes what we see as ‘blue sky’.

There’s only one explanation. Walter White stashed the remaining Meth at the edge of the solar system xD
