NASA Has Found 1,200 Planets That Could Have Life

that is INSANELY cool…

Apparently this discovery changes everything.  Here is what they announced:

The US space agency has just announced the discovery of the new “exoplanets” which are considered as similar to Earth due to their distance from the star they orbit.

Timothy Morton, associate research scholar at Princeton University in New Jersey, said: “We have discovered 1,284 new planets – the most explanets ever announced at one time.”

It more than doubles the previous amount of exoplanets found by the Kepler Telescope, taking the total number to 2,325.

In addition this relates to the most “earth like” planet we’ve ever found.

The search for extraterrestrials has spanned for many decades and centuries really. Some of the more relatively recent programs have been the S.E.T.I. program which sent and listened to and sent messages in hopes of contacting aliens. There has even been speculation of a message received from S.E.T.I. although it was likely a false reading. Now astronomers have actually found a planet with an atmosphere that has them excited names kepler 452-B.

Let’s find out more about this planet in the video on page 2

1200 planets that could harbor “life as we know it”. would be more appropriate. The universe itself… in my opinion… is a living being.
