NASA Reported a “Strange Noise” in 1969 That Remains a Mystery

Astronauts STILL don’t know what it was…

In May 1969 Apollo 10 astronauts heard something on the other side of the moon.  To this day they still have no idea what it was.  Some have speculated that is was “alien music” and others have thought it may have been a comet.  Here is a bit more on the story:

The noises reportedly were heard in May 1969 by the Apollo 10 astronauts as they circled the Moon, months before the first astronauts stepped foot on the on July 21 that same year.

The three on board were Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan.

The sounds, which lasted about an hour, were recorded and transmitted to mission control in Houston.

Why is this hardly ever talked about?  You often hear about S.E.T.I. and the arecibo message which is still debated in its origin.  However this weird reporting almost never comes up.

Let’s find out more on this weird noise in the video on page 2

I watched a show last night. The astronauts never told NASA until they landed. They were afraid they would be labeled crazy by flight control. Rhey said it was almost like a banshee screaming in their headsets. They did play the conversation, and sound in the background. Bizarre indeed.
