
Ok who’s ready for an iPhone or Android charger that takes one minute to go to fully charge? I think about anyone who uses a smartphone can’t wait for the day, especially with older phones. Apparently some very smart researchers are on the case and may be close to that solution:
Researchers at Stanford University have developed a new battery that can be recharged in about a minute and is safer than the lithium ion cells used in everything from smartwatches to passenger jets.
It could one day mean super-fast charging of smartphones and other gadgets
Wait did they say other gadgets too? That would be incredible. We are all tired of streaming a few videos or having a few calls then scrambling to find a charger or worse having your phone go out mid call.
