This video is interesting and helps illustrate the kinds of questions we will need to ask if we want to take space travel forward.

And of course on any debated topic in science, the video comments can be spirited and actually very inquisitive.

I’m no expert but I feel that it’s going to take some kind of crazy new discovery that we would have never thought of, before were able to truly travel the cosmos, something that will propel us to near the speed of light or beyond, I don’t see plasma or fusion rockets ever doing that, maybe anti matter if we ever figure out how to mass produce it and safely store it. Helium 3 could be promising as well. I just hope I get to see it happen in my lifetime, it really feels like we’re on the cusp of something huge

I am a bit more optimistic than he is although plasma might not be the answer.
