
Most of the attention lately in regards to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence is in regards to exoplanets. None have gotten more attention than Kepler 452-b. However, this team may have a different approach in broadening our search criteria:
The quest for potentially habitable planets is often interpreted as the search for an Earth twin.
Some rocky planets outside our Solar System may in fact be more promising candidates for further research.
