Do you know what astronomers think happened? They have used some evidence in modeling that may surprise you. Many think of the birth of the solar system as some dust that clumped to form planets and then gravity pulled them around the sun in their respective orbits. That may be partially true however some very clever researchers have examined certain other objects to try and figure things out. This video takes journey visually:
Where do you look to glimpse the birth of a solar system like ours? Our sun is thought to have formed along with a range of stellar siblings. This star cluster likely moved out on its own, bound by gravity, in what astronomers call a “Moving Group.”
They also comment where they think the specific point of things started? See if you agree.
Reminder this is very different than the big bang theory which is about the universe, and a lot of researchers lately have disproven it.
