Will they find one?

The search for Earth-like planets has gotten a lot of attention lately.  Kepler 452-b has been considered one of the most similar planets to our own ever discovered.  Of course there are challenges in observing these phenomena in that stars can emit a lot of light, making them difficult to detect.  Astronomers are using powerful telescopes such as The Kepler to try to detect these exoplanets.  They are working on other techniques and expect more detailed pics within the next year!
