The Universe is Expanding so Fast Astronomers Can’t Calculate It

This is a continuation from what they had to say on this amazing discovery:

We’re going to have to sit tight and wait for these results to be independently confirmed or disproved, but we’ve been hearing pretty often recently of things happening out in our Universe that challenge our current laws of physics, so something’s probably gonna have to give eventually.

So what do you think about this?  Are we lacking the tools to measure this stuff or do physics change in parts of the universe or both?  Or do you have another opinion?
