Orbit1.co which recently launched a kickstarter project is absolutely rad if this thing works.  The 3D printing revolution is just getting started and one of the neat parts and more expensive is the metal plating of parts.  Companies such as X one and others get a hefty sum for plating and 3D printing/manufacturing metal parts.  The orbit1 claims to be able to take modest sized 3D printed items and coat them with electroplating in a very cost effective manner.

Seriously I want to get one of these things.
