Here is a comment from the narrator about ISS and a science fiction reference.

The video narrator Orion has this to say:

ISS will be maintained well in to 2040s. by 2024 they’ll decide how to deal with ISS but there’s a great chance ISS will be upgraded and maintained in to 2040s for replacement would be too expensive in this economy and not feasible.

I’ve made similar video on my channel, but what I think will revolutionize space travel is invention of fusion reactor and making it small enough to fit on a space ship to be used to propel space ship at great speeds. Also artificial gravity would be one other thing that it’ll be necessary to work on, centrifugal rotational concept is most promising at this point, longer in future we’ll need to come with something more practical.

Gravitational Deck plating from Star trek look most promising concept, problem is, technology is beyond our means and might require knowledge of Quantum physics (the string theory) and Dark energy before we start talking of these items.

Artificial gravity in form of gravitational deck like you describe it has nothing to do with string theory, dark energy or quantum theory. The only way we could achieve such technology is if we discovered some exotic matter that could react different to gravity. According to the standard model such matter should not exist. But how knows what we will achieve in the future.

The next 50 years are going to be interesting and I would say it is likely there will be some sort of detection of life forms!
