wait…what?

Finally a car that can run on air?  You have to be joking right?  The maker of this video thinks this is possible and here is more of the description he gives:

An amazing affordable auto that runs on air!  Is this really possible?

AIRPod is the culmination of MDI studies on pollution and urban mobility.
This concept will be the first to leave the production line in spring 2009. MDI will respond to an invitation to tender of the city of Paris, “Autolib'”, and is already the subject of applications for various municipalities.

Skeptical or not this definitely deserves more investigation.  How could something like this possibly work?   Would it be nuclear or some different force of physics?
