Have you heard of the term cymatiks?  It is the study of vibration and sound effects in a visual sense.  What does the sound look like when amplified, changed or placed against different types and states of matter.  In this awesome experiment, they use cymatiks to move water and create an awesome illusion.  And they did it in their own backyard.
