Who or WHAT built this?

Samaipata is a unique ancient megalithic site whose builders are as of yet unknown.  Did you have any idea about this place?  Most of the time when we think of mysterious or structures of unknown origin Stonehenge or the great pyramids come up.  However, some of the most fascinating archaeological mysteries are in South America.  This particular complex is vast.

It was occupied in the 14th century by the Inca, who made it a provincial capital. The walls in the foreground were created by the Inca.

This place is indeed bizarre and it may have been built in around 300 AD but they don’t know for sure.
