Astronomers Want to “Terraform” Jupiter and Mars…

is that even possible?

Is this a good idea as first it was Jupiter and now Mars is being discussed for this strange deployment?

There have been many discussions, and some that have progressed pretty far in regards to terraforming other planets.  That entails trying to manipulate a planetery environment so that life could flourish and make it more like earth.  So, how about Jupiter?

So just what would it take to terraform Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system?

In fact, it might even be easier than terraforming Mars or Venus, as long as you keep a steady flow of gas to the Moon replenishing the constantly escaping atmosphere.

Jupiter is a ball of hydrogen and helium, which compresses these gasses to almost starlike temperatures and pressures. Fine, Jupiter is the absolute worst. It makes traveling to Venus look like a spa visit.

If nothing else this is fascinating.  And now they want to do the same thing to Mars.

Let’s check out more and watch a video on how this could be done on page 2

Terraforming Mars would be more effective if we could increase its mass, and even better if we could jump start it’s core and magnetic field; perhaps using large celestial bodies like Ceres. Anything larger would require celestial engineering, rather than planetary. For Jupiter to be terraformed we’d have to wait until the sun expands, and burns most of the atmosphere away from the surface, which could be encrusted with diamond, and we’d have to find a way around that as well.

Give me break! We can’t get it right on Earth. This isn’t home economics, we can not$#%&!@*up a few cookies and say “Oh well”.those are not our planets. We are cosmic juviniles! We have not learned to take care of our own room yet. Good God help and guide us.
