Is this a good idea?
The discussion of space travel also encompasses what we would do on another planet and the term terraforming has come up. Basically that involves trying to manipulate a planetary environment so that life could flourish and make it more like earth. So, how about Jupiter?
So just what would it take to terraform Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system?
In fact, it might even be easier than terraforming Mars or Venus, as long as you keep a steady flow of gas to the Moon replenishing the constantly escaping atmosphere.
Jupiter is a ball of hydrogen and helium, which compresses these gasses to almost starlike temperatures and pressures. Fine, Jupiter is the absolute worst. It makes traveling to Venus look like a spa visit.
Is this a good or bad idea?
Let’s check out more and watch a video on how this could be done on page 2

Dont paly the creator. Not the best idea..
Why? It’s huge. And mostly gasses. We still couldn’t live there.
You can’t. Jupiter has no surface and the radiation if puts out would kill you before you could reach it.
We could if Avatar D was completed-Dimitri Itskov and the 2045 Initiative- the Dali Lamma supports it!!!!
We can’t even predict the weather here.
Doesn’t terraforming sort of require terrea?
Yeah. The earth is flat, too. A rapper told me.
Jupiter is used as a source of energy by the moons around it. Similar to the way we use the sun, since they are so far from the sun. Study the moons not the planet, it would be a waste of resources otherwise.

Don’t screw with Earth’s protector!
Jupiter gives off lethal amounts of radiation, even being on the surface of the nearby large moons will give a fatal dose in 10-15 minutes. As far as terraforming, if the radiation problem can be solved; it might be possible to live in the upper atmosphere in floating cities.
Why? We’ll never ever live there. The gravity would crush is into an unrecognizable mushy pulp.
Yeah, look how it’s worked out here.
Yeah and I want a million virgins and my own galaxy.
we can’e even clean up this one, not gonna happen
What about terraforming the moons of Jupiter?
This shouldnt even be a question….All gas, lots of radiation. Stop giving us conversationalist pieces that are irrelevant. Give something worth debating. This one in my petsonal oppinion us pointless.
really?? play creator .. smh ..
that’s an excellent argument against the idea, lol.
how about stating a scientific reason, based in reality and fact, like: gravitational problems and being crushed, radiation, no known solid surface, and not one based on magic baby theory and 6 day creationism, smh, again…
How about fix this planet and its problems before attempting any other planets
I’d prefer Mars.
Until now it was Mars… There are no limits!
why not just kick Europa out from around Jupiter, and settle it into orbit around Earth.
Im down.
Thats one of my dreams.
How?
While we’re at it let’s nudge the water moon and send it to Mars.
Let’s terraform the earth. We already have a good start.
Ugh… No !
How could you?
Preposterous
Better send the fire dept first to put the fire out.
Thought Jupiter is a gas gaint.
Isn’t Jupiter a gas giant
I thought Jupiter was primarily gas?
Um.. all “planets” are stars.. your sun created the “planets” technically there are no planets in this.. only other stars. This is why Jupiter is gaseous, it is growing into a sun, earth is growing too and one day will be as big and gaseous. Hell all that humans would need to do Is light the gas and create the sun now… though it would be no worse then what they do to meat on this star… force it to fully grow in two weeks… instead of its natural cycle.
This is no planet.. theread are no planets.. only stars.
Yost Craig why would you want to turn Jupiter into a sun? That would kill any life ( if any) living on its moons. It would affect the entire solar system. There are cycles to every thing for a reason.
Lol
Good luck with that. Gravity is a$#%&!@*
