Black Holes Can Do Crazy Things to Dark Matter

Most astronomers have posed the theory that an enormous amount of the universe is comprised of dark matter.  In this computer simulation they try to illustrate what a black hole could do to dark matter:

15 years building a computer simulation that shows what it looks like when a black hole pulls millions of particles into its spinning gravitational field. But what the simulation is really looking at is what happens to particles that get spat out in the form of detectable energy.
