The new up-close view of the crater reveals better-defined shapes of the brightest, central spot and features on the crater floor.
Members of the Dawn science team note the rim of the crater is almost vertical in some places, where it rises steeply for one mile (2 km).
And as more data comes in they will be making a 3D model. Many people think it is ice or salt that is reflecting and others think it may be something else.

After viewing the source image from NASAjpl, the largest white spot looks like a dome,or a giant scoop of frozen yogurt! A clearly airbrushed portion on the left side(follow the parrallel tracks from yogurt mountain) makes me wonder
I mean right side
