It has been quite a year for astronomy and there was even a big announcement this week by NASA about the atmosphere of Mars.  Data from the Opportunity rover confirmed that Mars had sustained water,  and the conditions could have hosted life.  When you think that organisms exist in volcanoes on earth where temperatures get very hot, this doesn’t seem like a stretch.
