He built a huge coil in his backyard and tests it out.  We can’t say this is safe or the best idea, but interesting none the less.

You may have seen a number of these homemade Tesla coil videos making their way around YouTube and other video sites.  Apparently if you configure copper wires in a cylindrical format and follow the steps you can really make one of these.
