DO NOT try this at home. This is probably a really poor use of judgement. That being said, it is pretty darn neat to watch. This home inventor is displaying the capabilities of a huge Tesla coil. As you can see the copper coil configuration and cylinder structure work on small devices as well as larger devices. Much like the way a hand touching a glass lightning ball will attract the electric pulses to the edge of the glass, the metal wand this guy is holding is attracting the elctricity.
