Do You Know China Has Had A Telescope On The Moon For Over 2 Years?

Are you surprised by this?  Not a lot of people know.  Here is some further information on this unusual telescope:

The telescope arrived on the Moon with the Chang’e 3 lander, which carried the Chinese Yutu rover, also known as the Jade Rabbit, in December 2013. The rover since hasn’t faired so well, after struggling to survive the days-long lunar nights, and it finally stopped transmitting data in March this year.

This is very cool and when it comes to science it is about progress and cooperation!  So if you don’t succeed try again.  We will be posting more updates from international space missions.

Check out this video it has a broadcast about it from a Chinese news station.
