Do You Know China Has Had A Telescope On The Moon For Over 2 Years?

this could be good although it is rarely mentioned.

In science and in space collaboration is key.  This is a good thing and it would be cool if there was more discussion about this, especially for astronomy fans.  Well we are bringing this up to encourage working together.  However, this particular mission didn’t seem to be a huge success.  Here is some more information on when this happened and what China had to say about the moon’s atmosphere (or lack thereof)

“There is no atmosphere on the Moon, so unlike Earth, the ultraviolet light from celestial objects can be detected on the Moon,” Jing Wang from the National Astronomical Observatories in Beijing told New Scientist.

This shouldn’t be a competitive thing right?
