This may be THE most interesting artifact ever…

It was originally thought to have been in a temple.  Rumor (and history) has it that it was moved around the medieval times.  It was rediscovered in the late 1700s and has been fought after ever since.

The translation of it has baffled many for centuries and the commenter on the video thread had this to say:

It is kind of surprising it took them so long to translate it. Something like the circling of words should have been obvious. It could only be for emphasis and in the ancient world that would mean it must have been the name of a god, city or king. And for a culture sophisticated enough to build the pyramids, the language would have to be phonetic by that point.

Many think the stone was moved at least once and then later was rediscovered yet again.  Even within the last 15 years there has been controversy between countries over this artifact.
