Ladies and gentlemen here it is..the world’s roundest object!  And this is important why? Because it’s cool.  And btw the materials used to make this cost over $1,000,000 dollars.  This is a 1 kilogram sphere of silicon 28 atoms. there are 1.25 x 10 to the 25th power of them.  Now that it has been so precisely sculpted, it is even more valuable.  Aside from coolness why would anyone want to spend so much money or time constructing an object like this?
