In transcribing a bit from the video here are some of the components he uses in making this 900 VA device:

• 2 x 12,000 volt 60 mill amp neon sign transformers in parallel
• Many 2,000 volt capacitors possibly 11
• A synchronous rotary spark gap
• A photo detector
• An inductor made of many copper circles of coil
