Ok here is all you need and remember to wear your safety goggles and only do this under the supervision of a professional:

• Safety goggles, a glass jar, a paper towel cardboard tube when you’re out of , two alligator clip wires, 8 D batteries, scissors, protective lab gloves and mechanical pencil refills.

First start by taping all of the D batteries together as shown in the video.  Cut the cardboard tube in half (I don’t know why CRH didn’t just use a toilet paper tube) oh well..Next take the wire clips and tape the on each side of the paper towel cardboard tube!  Then place the lead in between the two alligator clips, securely clipping it in.  Turn off the lights.  Then, with lab gloves place the jar over the tube with the lead and touch the alligator clips to the batteries only with lab gloves with a professional and see what happens.
