Whoa this is totally bizarre and glad this guy took the initiative to make it.
This fascinating design was done by a man named Gorkem Sen. Some people paint, some people excperiment with tesla coils and he made a fascinating instrument. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Here is some information about it how it works:
Yaybahar is an electric-free, totally acoustic instrument. The vibrations from the strings are transmitted via the coiled springs to the frame drums. These vibrations are turned into sound by the membranes which echo back and forth on the coiled springs. This results in an unique listening experience with an hypnotic surround sound.
