Some people are curious and impressed on how this guy learned to make this stuff or what inspired him.
commenter Scott S. says:
Very impressive, though my eyes don’t actually fire lasers. Rather than heat vision, my eyes release concussive force blasts. Meaning that rather than burn things, it knocks them back/over with intense force (the amount of intensity can be tuned with the visor, of course).
But nonetheless, still a fascinating gadget.
Someone makes an analogy to Greek mythology and commenter Adam C. says about this invention:
Actually, Cyclops’s optical blast is made of pure kinetic energy, so it doesn’t technically burn anything. His eyes open a portal to a dimension of kinetic energy, which is unleashed anytime he opens his eyes. Still a cool invention though!
What would you do with laser goggles? (Aside from creating and naming yourself after a new superhere character called laser dude or woman). THis is a really cool video if nothing else and a big thanks to the home inventor and experimenter for making it!
