It uses a Hall sensor and 2 transistor circuit with a power mosfet. Only the recent Dogsaver coil has a higher charger voltage up to 65 volts, for the same setup here, using less power overall, about 18 watts, due I think to the unusual geometry of the winding.
Whether you have an engineering background it doesn’t matter this is just cool!
And note: Do not try this at home or without the supervision of a professional.
