This hole is huge and scientists are scratching their heads. There have been rumors on the intenret and sightings of strange holes all over the planet. Many are attributing these to fracking or other fossil fuel drilling activities.:
Scientists have launched an investigation into a giant crater that suddenly appeared in Siberia. Internet speculation on the hole’s origins abounds.
Some of the theories are even ranging from ufo activity to a military experiment and even dark matter. It is 260 feet wide and no one knows how deep it actually is.
Russian scientists have been on the scene multiple times to try to gather evidence. Apparently the most popular theory is that it is from a meteor.

This is old news and scientists are already fairly certain that they know the cause. They think it’s from a gas pocket that escaped, likely caused by thawing permafrost.
