This is incredible and many archaeologists and historians may have to reconfigure some of their societal models to explain this phenomenon:
The grand mystery of the heads of Easter Island has just deepened…literally! Archeologists have excavated around the heads and guess what they found? The heads have full bodies! The bodies are covered in ancient and as of yet indecipherable writings called petroglyphs.

Petroglyphs are pictogram and logogram images created by removing part of a rock surface by incising, picking, carving, or abrading. Outside North America, scholars often use terms such as “carving”, “engraving”, or other descriptions of the technique to refer to such images.
One of the commenters in the video thread, Richard M poses an interesting question:
i don’t know why people think we are the first descendants of anyone or thing, they say the world is 400,000,000 years old,so how many cycles of life has it seen from the very first people who all went extinct 4 or 5 cycles before the dinosaurs? this is the real question

The only incredible thing is that we have known for a long time there were heads …it’s incredibly stupid that it has taken so long to look beneath the surface and find the bodies…amazing!!!

They excavated them a long time ago..its just being circulated as if its new news.
They knew about the bodies since the 70s
I’ve known about them for a very long time and suspected there must be more too them even longer…this article makes it sound like an amazing new discovery.
