Laser Experiment Underwater Bending

Here is a cool experiment where a guy bends a 50W laser with water. He had this to say about his experiment:

NEW DISCOVERY 🙂 the process of reflection is well known, but for communication and transmission underwater , and particularly for certain devices that could come in handy for underwater use , look up the experiments.. and tell me what you find. 🙂

I’m not patenting “reflections” I’ve come up with other inventions based upon this phenomenon. Also the color change in the water is worthy to note as well. The blue laser becomes “green” to human (and camera) observation in visible light, when exiting the water, it becomes blue again . After the video I also shined the laser in the water from the top, without the glass interference, and the laser changed green again, thus the glass is not causing an added color. This color conversion of the blue / UV to green in clear water is very interesting to me, and clearly I need to research this angle more (even if others have discovered this, its worth researching).

His statement is a bit strong but a cool experiment none the less.

Let’s watch what happens to this laser in the video on page 2
