NASA is Focusing on Deep Space Communications

could this work and is it a good idea?

You may have heard of S.E.T.I. and now NASA has their way of trying to send out signals.  Just as a brief refresher, S.E.T.I. originally started in the 1970s as the search for extraterrestrial intelligence.  They sent out signals and listened as well in the hopes to contact aliens.  They actually started up recently again after an investment from a Russian billionaire.  And NASA has their own version of doing something somewhat related alebit with astronauts:

Today’s technology has all but eliminated time delays in telecommunication on Earth, but when they do occur they can be frustrating, especially when trying to communicate complex or time sensitive information. The same type of delay could happen when communicating with spacecraft and crew members in deep space on the journey to Mars. For example, communication over radio waves could have round-trip delays of up to 31 minutes at Mars. According to a recent investigation, this could impact team performance and emotional well-being.

Let’s find out more about their interesting plan on page 2

And what the worst could happen let them explore that’s what people do they explore and I don’t that they will find anything our lifetime anyway if they’re out there they’re a long way away
