New Breakthrough in the Search For Aliens MAY Succeed

will THIS work to find them?

The search for extraterrestrial life takes another leap forward.  Some may remember the SETI program where they sent out and listened for alien signals.  Here is an intro on this really clever method they have developed:

Astronomers have successfully commissioned a new type of optic that can reveal the image of an exoplanet next to its parent star. The ‘vector Apodizing Phase Plate’ (vector-APP) coronagraph was installed at the 6.5-m Magellan Clay telescope in Chile in May 2015, and the first observations demonstrated an unprecedented contrast performance very close to the star, where planets are more likely to reside. These results will be presented by PhD student Gilles Otten this Monday afternoon to the scientific community at the “In the Spirit of Lyot” conference organized by the Centre for Research in Astrophysics of Québec and researchers at the University of Montreal. Almost 2000 exoplanets have been detected to date, but only a handful of those have been imaged directly. Exoplanets are typically more than a million times fainter than and are lost in the glare of their parent star as seen from Earth. To directly image exoplanets and to characterize their atmospheres, astronomical instruments at the world’s largest telescopes use coronagraphs to suppress the overwhelming halo of light from the star.

Any opinions on this so far and do you think SETI and others are going to succeed this decade?

They give a detailed walk through on one way this would take place!

    A) Are we sure we want to find them?
    B) If they are even a few thousand years more advanced than we are… they found us along time ago. And we won’t know until they want us too.

Correction most likely we the human race are the creation from alien experiments similar to how laboratories preform experimental test to create cures for illnesses. The possibility of other life forms other than the human race is highly possible it’s just there hasn’t been any full proof to support that theory yet the evidence is all over the world

How did you correct what I said? I said they are likely more advanced… and if they did make us… which only pushes the origin question further out in space… they will only let us know when they are ready. But I hate that answer. Who created them? And who created them? There has to be an original infinite source. Our universe had a birthday and was therefore created by an original infinte source. A perfect definition of God.
