When a Drone Was Flown Over The Nubian Pyramids They Saw THIS

they checked out these ancient structures…

Archaeologists examined these ancient structures and saw something awesome.  Sudan which is directly south of Egypt in North Africa actually has pyramids that are thousands of years old as well.  We usually focus on those in Northern Egypt and these are amazing.  And now with drone technology there is new amazing footage of these archaeological structures in the video.

Armed with a remotely operated mini-helicopter, National Geographic engineer Alan Turchik gets a bird’s-eye view of 3,000-year-old royal burial chambers. The unique perspective is helping to unravel ancient Nubian mysteries.

The narrator and drone operator in the video does a good job of capturing the footage and explaining a bit about the local environment and carvings.

The Karima Pyramids

One of the pyramids near Karima in Northern Sudan. These pyramids were built in the 8th Century BCE near the temple known as Jebel Barkal that was built in the 15th Centruy BC by the Egyptian

Here is a second video of the Meroe pyramids as well as a brief historical description of the region:

About 2,000 kilometers north of Sudan’s capital Khartoum, there are a group of deserted pyramids despite being a UNESCO World Heritage site. The site is called the Island of Meroe because an ancient, long-dried river once ran around it. The area served as the main residence of rulers of the Kush kingdom that were known as Black Pharaohs. The pyramids range from six-meters tall and are believed to be around 4600 years old.

And yet another YouTube video with a few more angles for you to enjoy of these awesome archaeological finds!

It is our duty as scientists to question everything, whether it is the right of those who govern us or the power of those who direct our beliefs, we must always remember the study of ancient history is a quest for the truth, however uncomfortable that truth maybe.

Why are people so fascinated by Pyramids.

Their is nothing amazing about them and I laugh at the perspective people have about them.

Let’s put it in simple steps.

    1)Person with power wants monuments.
    2)Make slaves build monument(s).
3)Gather a million slaves and a couple engineers of that time.
4)Stack blocks and do the exact same thing we do today.

The only thing different about back then and now is the intensive labor and better precision.

You idiots who think they were more precise back then need to stop, just stop. I suppose they had better medicine too huh? Better doctors, lawyers, accounting, etc… all these technological break threw we have come out with but you still believe the pyramids were built by aliens or special people.

Nope. Just several powerful rulers who enslaved people and had them build their monument.
    Sorry for the reality guys.

They were at best brown skinned but I’m sorry, your brothers were I villages fighting over who was or wasn’t going to be a slave for the Egyptians.

Hahaha ignorance. Why are you trying to make things up now? Is it that important that you feel you need to lie about actual history in order to feel like your culture didn’t do evil deeds too?

Yeah that’s right. The village elders sold their own people into slavery for horses, etc. so the Egyptian ruler of the time could build THEIR pyramid or monument.

    Sorry.

Study history in a more complete way and you will see that cultures all around the world built pyramids. Study more deeply for the genetics. Egypt was split in two during ancient times. Upper and Lower. The differnt areas had differnt cultures besides being called Egyptians.
