Neodymium magnets are extremely strong and used in a lot of major industrial applications.  They also make for cool experiments like this one described by the narrator:

A powerful, yet dangerous magnet that can do amazing tricks. I’ve tried to make some original tricks in this video instead of just showing how much this magnet can lift (which is around 200 kg under optimal conditions).

Needless to say, these magnets are extremely powerful and don’t try this without the supervision of a professional.

Kind of  a cool factoid these types of magnets weren’t even developed until the 1970s – 1980s.
