The Science of Happines..This is Life Changing

This is a life changing study on the science of happiness.  It’s true that most people think that if they have a lot of money, delicious food or something else that they will be happy.  Although those things can be nice, especially tasty treats, this study finds something so simple that contributes to actual real long-term happiness.

 

The secret is gratitude.  Actual expressed gratitude towards the people who have influenced you, contributed to your life and the appreciation of them is the key . The testers are asked to write down the name and contact information of a person they care about or helped them.  Then asked to write a letter of gratitude to that person expressing appreciation.

  • For those who couldn’t reach the person they wanted to thank or express appreciation by phone still increased in happiness
  • For those who were actually able to reach that individual by phone showed 4% – 19% even more happiness then those who could not
  • And the person who increased their happiness the most with this exercise was the least happy person who walked in the door
