They Made a “Gravity Powered Light” and it Works

is this crazy or crazy smart?

If this thing catches on it could be disruptive.  This invention nailed their fundraising round and then some a few years ago in indiegogo.com.  Now they have a second round which we are not endorsing either way, just reporting on it.

This is the problem and solution as they describe it:

20% OF THE WORLD’S POPULATION DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ELECTRICITY.

THAT’S 1 IN 5 PEOPLE.

With a growing world population, this number is projected to remain the same for the next 20 years. Without electricity, most of these people have no other option but to use kerosene lamps to light their homes.

GravityLight is unique – it doesn’t need batteries or sunlight and costs nothing to run.

It takes seconds to lift the weight that powers GravityLight creating 20 minutes of light on its descent.

What do you think will this thing grow and catch on or is it a fad?

That sounds promising let’s check it out in the video on page 2

If we all went gravity energy efficient or whatever its called. Does that mean we have to pay a gravity tax to the government? They will find a way

Best watch your back! This is not acceptable. For those with greed. They will purchase the patient, and we
will never see true production. Just another failed good idea.
